KiZAN performs Office 365 Tenant to Tenant Migration

Kimball Electronics is a leading contract manufacturer of durable goods electronics. Kimball’s contract electronics manufacturing services teams provide manufacturing, engineering and supply chain services, design and testing services, as well as regulatory support processes for a variety of industries globally

Challenge:

Due to an acquisition, Kimball Electronics needed to fully integrate approximately 550 Office 365 users into the Kimball tenant. One of the chief concerns was mailbox size, with some mailboxes containing over 90gb of data!

Approach

KiZAN conducted an engagement to configure the acquired tenant and users, including Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams content. The chief concern was focusing on Mail, OneDrive, and Teams. KiZAN facilitated user-driven migrations of Power Platform and Stream and performed a cut-over migration of all related Office 365 attached policies, mail, and collaboration workloads.

The project was delivered only 6 weeks, allowing for the swift integration of new users and improved collaboration.
