#### Why You Need to Start Now

Migrations can take up to 12 months, depending on the complexity of your environment. Starting now ensures you have ample time to:

- **Assess your current setup**: Understanding your existing SharePoint environment is crucial for a smooth transition.
- **Plan and execute the migration**: A well-thought-out plan minimizes downtime and disruptions.
- **Train your team**: Ensure your staff is ready to leverage new tools and features effectively.
- **Test thoroughly**: Identify and resolve any issues before going live.

#### SharePoint 2016 Deprecation / SharePoint Online Opportunity

- **SharePoint Server 2016 will reach its end of life on July 14, 2026**. After this date, it will no longer receive any updates or support from Microsoft.
- **If companies are using SharePoint 2016**, it's the ideal time to start planning to migrate to a newer version or an alternative solution before it's too late.
