It has been reported and Microsoft is now acknowledging that deploying KB3161606 - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3161606 may cause issues with VM’s running on Microsoft Hyper-V.
It is recommended to update the integration components in the virtual machine before applying this update to the virtual machine. Unless you have a specific need I would avoid applying this rollup for the time being until Microsoft can get everything sorted out.
